S.T.A.R.T. is the result of the efforts of Paul and Catherine Marsh to come up with a practical, ‘just makes sense’ initiative that focuses on Childhood Obesity that will become an accepted focal point in the fight against obesity. This is an opportunity to do something that makes sense from a medical, educational, and community perspective. Moreover, it gives different groups that are hard at work dealing with Childhood Obesity a chance to come together and create a coalition that focuses on this disease. S.T.A.R.T. has the ability to make this happen.
